Your Queries :-

Students who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 from a recognized board are eligible to apply. For the Army wing, candidates from any stream can apply, while for the Navy and Air Force, Physics and Mathematics are required subjects.

Additionally, candidates must fall within the age limit of approximately 16.5 to 19.5 years, be unmarried, and meet the required physical and medical standards.

The selection process consists of multiple stages to evaluate both academic and personality traits. First, candidates must clear the written examination, which includes Mathematics and General Ability Test.

After qualifying the written exam, candidates are called for the SSB interview, where their personality, leadership skills, communication, and decision-making abilities are tested. Finally, candidates must pass a medical examination before being included in the merit list.

The NDA exam is divided into two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). Mathematics includes topics like algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.

The GAT paper includes English, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, and Current Affairs. Students should focus on strengthening their Class 11 and 12 concepts and practice regularly to improve accuracy and speed.

Structured preparation helps candidates cover the entire syllabus systematically while improving speed, accuracy, and time management. Regular mock tests, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision play a key role in performance improvement.

Additionally, guidance for the SSB interview, including personality development and communication skills, ensures overall preparation. With consistency and the right strategy, students can significantly increase their chances of clearing the NDA exam on the first attempt.

Physical fitness is a crucial part of the NDA selection process. Candidates must meet specific standards related to height, weight, vision, and overall health.

Even after clearing the written exam and SSB interview, candidates can be rejected if they do not meet medical requirements. Regular exercise, running, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are essential during preparation.

Preparation should begin with understanding the exam pattern and syllabus. Students should create a proper study plan covering both Mathematics and GAT subjects.

Regular practice through mock tests, previous year papers, and revision is essential. Along with academic preparation, candidates should also work on communication skills and personality development for the SSB interview stage.

Hind Defence Academy supports students through a complete NDA preparation system that includes concept-based classroom teaching, regular mock tests, and detailed performance analysis. Students are guided in Mathematics and General Ability Test with a focus on strengthening fundamentals and improving exam speed and accuracy.

Along with academic preparation, the academy also provides SSB interview training, personality development sessions, and communication skill improvement activities. Physical fitness guidance and discipline-oriented environment further help students prepare for the overall NDA selection process. This combined approach ensures students are well-prepared for all stages of the NDA exam.

There is no minimum percentage requirement in Class 12 to apply for the NDA exam. Candidates only need to pass their 12th standard from a recognized board.

However, strong academic performance helps in building concepts, especially in Mathematics and Science, which are crucial for clearing the written examination.
